Hello from Tomorrowland!

How it started...

I texted my author pals Toni Anderson and Darcy Burke within minutes of receiving a text from my husband about a potential job offer from the Marine Corps in Okinawa. My husband was in a meeting and couldn't talk at the time so I turned to my besties.

The journey since that early July day has been bumpy, to say the least. I won't go into detail here but there have been multiple times in the months after he received the official job offer that we thought the move might fall through. Still, I put writing on hold after FALSE EVIDENCE released in December because we wanted to seize this opportunity if we could. We were within a few hours of heading to the airport earlier this month--after having our household goods shipped to Japan and the rest of our belongings packed and moved to storage--when we were told to cancel our tickets.

That was a wee bit heartbreaking.

Still, we hoped we'd get back on track.

How it's going...

We arrived in Okinawa late Monday evening (Okinawa time) after 24 hours of travel. This last week has been scary and exciting and yesterday we went out for sushi for the first time and enjoyed having the food delivered by conveyor belt right to our booth.

Was the sushi good?

Based on the amount of empty plates... Yes. Yes it was.

I really think I'm going to LOVE living in Okinawa. 😍

It will take some time to get settled before I get fully back into writing mode, but I hope to get some words in this week after I proof the audiobook for FALSE EVIDENCE. I hope to have the audiobook available at Audible my mid-April.

In the meantime FALSE EVIDENCE is available in print and ebook.

Holidays can be deadly.

Alexandra Vargas hasn’t spoken to JT Talon in seven years. She’s moved on from the heartbreak, and now has the baby—and life—she always wanted. But everything changes on a cold December evening when a traffic stop goes horribly wrong, and Alexandra finds herself on the run with only one possible place to hide: JT’s remote mountain cabin, the same place where, eleven years ago, she broke their engagement a week before the wedding.

JT must face his worst nightmare when he learns that not only is the love of his life a fugitive from the police, but also he must now step up and smuggle the child he never wanted to safety.

Past and present collide as JT and Alexandra struggle to find their way back to each other and heal the rift that has long separated them. But their past still threatens their future, and no one is safe until the truth behind every deception is revealed.

Feeling the urge to travel this spring? Escape to Malta with a shy art historian and a hot Navy SEAL who is utterly smitten with her.

Sometimes history is better left buried…

Six months after barely escaping a nightmare, Kira Hanson is ready to take the trip of a lifetime—one she hopes will answer questions about her father’s clandestine work recovering art stolen during World War II. But before she boards her flight, she’s waylaid by a friend in need and finally comes face-to-face with the Navy SEAL who saved her six months ago and then ghosted her.

Lieutenant Commander Randall Fallon is thrilled to cross paths with the shy art historian, but within minutes of their reunion he learns she’s in danger once again. Uneasy with the idea of her embarking on a trip to track down art thieves on her own, he just might have to reprise his role as undercover bodyguard and follow her to Europe posing as an art buyer.

Things heat up between Kira and Rand when he tracks her down in Malta, but it soon becomes clear that Rand’s instincts were correct: Kira’s digging into her father’s secrets has unearthed an unexpected enemy.
