After 4 1/2 years, I finally joined the unfortunate club of getting covid. Thankfully, with five vaccines boosting my immune system, my symptoms have been manageable and I used my downtime to watch the Olympics. I watched as much as I could live on both US and Canadian TV channels and really enjoyed the coverage by both NBC and CBC.

Don't ask me my favorite moment - I watched waaayyyy too many events to have one. Plus my brain might have been in a bit of a fog. Really, I wanted everyone to win! I was thrilled to see Simone Biles defy gravity once again, but I cheered just as hard for the competition because I didn't want to see anyone fall or get hurt. I really wanted every athlete to have their best day.

One memory that stands out was watching the pole vaulter break the world record live. That was fun. I've never been invested in pole vaulting in my life. 😀

Now that my head is less foggy from fever and the Olympics have ended, it's time for me to return my focus to writing. I'm still not ready to share details of my next book beyond that it will be the 12th and last book in the original Evidence series. And yes, it's the couple everyone has been waiting for since 2013. 😀
