It's that time again! Every 2 years, Romancelandia bands together to raise money to protect voting rights. The three previous auctions raised over a million dollars, and this year's auction is closing in on raising $125,000 as I write this. In 2026 Romancing the Vote is supporting Vote Riders and The Southern Coalition for Social Justice, two organizations experienced in fighting to make sure every person's vote counts. The auction opened on July 1st and closes on the 6th at 7:00 PM CDT. I've donated several items to the auction including signed copies of TINDERBOX, INTO THE STORM, and COLD EVIDENCE. They will be listed with Buy it Now, which could go live at any time. June certainly has been interesting! We started the rainy season on June 1st with a direct hit by a typhoon! We were fine. Okinawa is built for this and our house solid. The eye of the storm passed over us, and we had about a six hour break in the storm.
