Portland, Oregon is one of my favorite cities! In my three+ decades living in the Pacific Northwest, I’ve spent many, many fun weekends in Portland, visiting family and friends or passing through before or after fieldwork in my dig bum days.

I haven't gone in search of a pumpkin yet and am not sure if I could find one if I did, but we do have a watermelon we got from a neighbor's produce stand, so maybe we could carve that instead?
