My book in the promotion is WITHHOLDING EVIDENCE

Some secrets are worth dying for…
Military historian Trina Sorensen has a nearly impossible task before her: get recalcitrant but tempting former Navy SEAL Keith Hatcher to reveal what happened during a top secret Somalia op five years ago. Recent history isn’t usually her forte, but the navy wants an historian’s perspective and has given her the high security clearance to get the job done.

Keith isn't just refusing to tell Trina about the op, he's protecting a national secret that could destroy the lives of those he cares about the most. But not wanting to talk about a covert mission doesn’t mean he isn’t interested in spending time with the sexy historian, and the first time they kiss it’s explosive. When the past comes pounding on Keith’s door, he’ll do anything to keep Trina safe… Anything, that is, except tell her the secret that could get them both killed.

FALSE EVIDENCE has all the holiday feels...

Suspected of killing a cop, Alexandra flees to a cabin owned by her ex-fiancé. When JT learns the love of his life’s daughter could be used as a pawn by those hunting her, he whisks the child to safety—which just so happens to be the very same cabin where her mother is hiding…

Gingerbread Day

We enjoyed another successful gingerbread day this past weekend. This was my family's creation. Look for more photos in my next newsletter--including photos of inside the house showing the fireplace, couch, table, tree, and interior decorating.

I hope you and yours are enjoying this holiday season!

One thing I love about living in Japan is how much the culture embraces cuteness. A little joy to encounter every time you leave the house. Even the garbage trucks play a jingle! Yes, I was disappointed the first time when I was expecting ice cream, but once I got over it I found I appreciate the heads up to put the garbage out if I haven't already. Seriously useful early warning system. I ran into this little cutie at a mall yesterday. It was so fun to watch everyone's reaction to the mascot...

On March 23, 2025 my husband and I boarded a flight with the eventual destination of Okinawa, Japan. We arrived in Naha late on the 24th, and didn't make it to our hotel until after midnight on the 25th. (This is memorable because our hotel was on a military base and they didn't want let me on base because even though my name was on my husband's travel orders, I didn't have a DoD ID at the time and no one is permitted on base after midnight without having a pass already or DoD ID.) We did...

Did you have a chance to see the Blood Moon total lunar eclipse on March 3rd? We had a great view of it from our rooftop in Okinawa. Unfortunately it clouded over before we got the tripod dialed in, but we were able to take this photo at the maximum total eclipse. I've been back in Okinawa for a few weeks and in addition to returning in time to see the eclipse, we also had family visit from the US and Taiwan. We had a great visit and I so enjoyed taking care of my 15-month-old grand-nephew. 😍...
