Last week I received a copy of TINDERBOX in Japanese! The book was translated in 2019, but I never received copies and was delighted to discover I could order it online from a Japanese bookstore.

The title in Japanese is

危ない夜に抱かれて

According to Duck Duck Go, this translates to Embraced by a Dangerous Night, Kobo translates this to Being Hugged on a Dangerous Night. When I used Google Lens to translate the cover, it says When I'm Being Held on a Dangerous Night. I'm going to have my husband ask his Japanese coworkers how they would translate the title, but I think I have the gist. 😂
